Kansas Poet Laureate
I’m enjoying my time as the new Kansas Poet Laureate. It’s a true joy being able to speak about poetry across Kansas. And many times we only need to look to our neighbors and community members to find practicing poets in our own towns. Our state is full of fine poets. My current talk is called “Finding the Extraordinary in the Ordinary,” about how we can find value and beauty in every little thing.
